It's important to find out if the current version of Microsoft FrontPage you're using or planning to buy fits your computer. In this article we list the minimum and recommended system requirements for your PC to run Microsoft FrontPage, from the listed requirements specified at the Microsoft FrontPage homepage. Additional requirements are noted in each software version to be able to use special tools and services.
Tip: Most requirements mentioned here are minimum system requirements, meaning it's okay if your computer has later operating system versions, more disk space or memory, or faster processors.
Microsoft FrontPage 2003
- Personal computer with Intel Pentium 233 MHz or higher processor – Pentium III recommended
- 180 megabytes (MB) hard disk space; optional installation requires additional 200 MB hard disk space
- CD-ROM or DVD drive
- Super VGA (800×600) or higher resolution monitor
- Microsoft Windows with Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later, or Windows XP or later

- 165 megabytes (MB) hard disk space; additional 115 megabytes (MB) required on the hard disk where the operating system is installed (Note: If you don't have Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, or Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1), you'll need an extra 50 MB hard disk space for System Files Update)
- CD-ROM drive
- Super VGA (800×600) or higher resolution monitor with 256 colors
